An exciting week for us here with the launch of the new website platform for Pieta.ie.
A website is a lot more than pictures and code put together. For an organisation like Pieta, the website is their primary engagement platform that needs to provide a number of different functions.
First and foremost, it's often the first point of contact for people who need their services. It’s therefore very important to ensure that key contact information is easy to find.
A filtered FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) area has been added to help people find advice and information to more common queries and quick links to find help for under 18's and more information to guide people on the process of what happens when you call.
Bereavement services and school prevention programmes are located in the services area that will allow more helpful and informative content to be added to it over time.
Pieta relies heavily on funding from the public. It's now much easier to find and engage with an event, make donations, or design your own event. There's lots more help and resources in this section with a brand new 'Thank You Wall' feature to facilitate Pieta to thank people or groups directly for their generosity.
There’s also added functionality to help Pieta to manage back office administration in a more streamlined way.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the fantastic team at Pieta on this important project. This is just the beginning for this new digital platform for Pieta - all built on our super-fast, modern Content Management System (CMS) and we look forward to adding to it in the months and years ahead.
We wish Pieta well in delivering their vision of a world where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance.
